Image shows Jimmy Calhoun, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Calhoun, smiling as he shows his coach, Glen Tole, trophy and ribbon he won at Gonzales contest. Jimmy won the junior championship and the reserve grand championship with 12 fowls. He is a 4-H Club member and Tole is assistant Tarrant County farm agent. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 7, 1950.
