Description
Ray Hughes, 15, was worried about his mother having to endure a second beating. The trouble came in the form of a fatal blast from a 16 gauge shot gun wielded by Ray. Johnny R. Holland, 25, a city employee, was pronounced dead at his arrival to Peter Smith Hospital. Mrs. Hughes told the reporters that he started beating her when they arrived to her ex-husbands residence to see the kids.
