Image shows O. K. Giles, Pyatt, Arkansas, holding shirt. Giles pulled Corporal Herschel Bigelow, Carswell Air Base, from the flaming wreckage of a Continental Trailways bus in Dallas. Giles, father of Police Lieutenant E. L. Giles, 3508 Grayson, lost clothing in his suitcase from fire and water damage. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 6, 1950.
