Description
This big gadget is part of the $15,000 worth of the newest television equipment which was installed in the WBAP-TV studios. Called a "Telp" and manned here by Rupert Bogan, control room supervisor, the machine projects pictures, script or type into a TV transmitter, fading one image out while bringing in or superimposing one on the other. Watch for a new, professional touch to TV announcements. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition June 8, 1950.
