Description
John Peter Smith Hospital School of Nursing capping of Carolyn Fargo. Charles Owens, middle, and Mrs. Johnnye Mahan, right, assist in the fitting. To signify their first year of training, twenty women were presented caps and two men were presented pins as part of the annual candlelight capping ceremony in the Polytechnic Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The address was delivered by Dr. M. U. Conditt, associate professor of psychology at Texas Wesleyan College.
