C. J. Long, president of the Fort Worth Geophysical Society, presents the society's first scholarship award to Ernest W. Heyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Heyer, 225 S. Roberts Cutoff Road. The scholarship, of $200 for each collegiate year, was awarded to the North Side High School senior for outstanding scholarship.
