    Description

Miss Virginia Kay Davis became the bride of J. Monrow Thomas at 6 p. m. Wednesday in Haltom Road Baptist Church with Reverend Joe Atchison officiating. Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a pearl white bouquet taffeta gown having an empire bodice of Alencon lace re-embroidered with seed pearls. The low, round neck-line and brief sleeves were outlined with scallops of the lace. The Dior Skirt was waltz-length. The bride wore matching taffeta gauntlets and she carried an heirloom handkerchief which belonged to her great grandmother, the late Mrs. Drue Rhine of Decatur.
