Description
Donohue, who is a partner in a cleaning establishment with his battery mate Reub Berry. Donohue has the distinction of being one of the first pitchers to go directly from college to the major leagues. He had a near death encounter in 1932, when he was diagnosed with blood poisoning. After he recovered he pitched against the Yankees.
