Reverend Malcolm L. Purcell of Houston, Texas, executive secretary of the Brazos Presbytery, was elected moderator of the 103rd session of the Synod of Texas of the Presbyterian Church in the United States during its opening session Tuesday night at First Presbyterian Church here. Retiring after a year as synod moderator was Toddie Lee Wynne, Dallas business executive, who gave the message, "Your Tithes and Stewardship." Toddie Lee Wynne (left), Reverend Malcolm L. Purcell.
