Description
Art Grimm, left , and Charles Bowen are examining what is believed to be the first mousetrap ever advertised on television. The boat-shaped contraption will catch a mouse, deposit it in an escape-proof chamber and reset itself. Mice never get to touch the bait, and no part of the trap contacted by a mouse need to be touched by one's hands. Its manufacturer, Eddie Fisher of San Gabriel, was in Fort Worth last week to arrange for "spots" on WBAP-TV with Grimm of the TV staff and Bowen of the Star-Telegram advertising department.
