Description
Tourists traveling U.S. Highway 80 between Sierra Blanca and El Paso get a good view of the White Mountains. The West Texas town of Sierra Blanca derived its name from the Sierra Blanca peak four miles northwest of the Hudspeth County seat town, which has the highest elevation along the U.S Highway 80. Peaks in the White Mountain range are from 4,500 to 7,000 feet above sea level.
