Description
Sam Snead, left in trouble because of a straying tee shot, threads an iron through the tree trunks and onto the fairway at the fifth hole. Foliage deflected the shot, and left it short, but a long putt saved the par. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition May 29, 1950.
