Description

The South Side Lions Club named Walter Jetton of 3316 West Biddison to receive its first achievement award, a plaque which commended the grocer and caterer "for service to club and community". McLeod Greathouse, left, club president, made the presentation to Jetton. The club meets in the College Avenue Baptist Educational Building. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 31, 1950.
