This City-County Hospital emergency room scene shows Hugh A. Brown moments before he died Friday night. A few minutes earlier he took poison after a jury had convicted him of slaying his wife with strychnine. The jury's sentence was life imprisonment. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition September 11, 1954.
