    A portrait of Mrs. James Sprinkle. Miss LaVerne Wilhite and Mr. James Sprinkle were married in the home of the bride's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Adams, 6813 Kirkwood Rd. Minister Wade Banowsky, assisted by Reverend Kester Hearn, performed the double ring ceremony for the couple, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Wilhite, 3201 Field St., and Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Sprinklr, 2305 Aster. Mrs. Robert Fowler was pianist and accompanied Larry House wright who sang. Miss Jo Ann Bearden was maid of honor, and James Linton was best man. Mrs. Bearden wore an ice blue crepe dress fashioned with a low neckline, cap sleeves, princess lines and ballerina length skirt. Her bandeau matched and she carried pink asters. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a princess-styled dress of white linen with a scalloped tulle yoke. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition August 15, 1954.
