With an intent gallery packed around the first tee, O'Neal (Buck) White hits the opening shot of the 1950 Colonial Invitation. White's drive was a 260-yarder, straight down the middle of the fairway. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition May 26, 1950.
