Brinkerhoff, left, recognizes outstanding accomplishments by members of his 546th Antiaircraft Artillery Battalion during the unit's first retreat formation since arriving at Carswell Air Force Base. Second from left to right are Lieutenant Charles E. Dunham Jr., who received the Commander's Trophy on behalf of Battery A; Sergeant Eugene K. Baxter, non-commissioned officer of the month, and Private First Class Zigismunds Dambitis, soldier of the month. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition August 7, 1954.
