    Description

The instrument is mounted on top of City Hall once a week to catch dust and other impurities in the air over Fort Worth. The weekly samples are sent to the U. S Public Health Service, which is conducting a study of impurities found in the air over 24 U. S cities. Shown inspecting the gadget are Price Griffith, left, of the city health department and Ralph Hardy, city sanitary engineer. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition August 6, 1954.
