Description
Richard E. Hasty, Chance Vought fireman, plays a stream of water on the smoking fragments of a jet fighter which crashed near Midlothian. Harry T. Brackett, test pilot, parachuted from the craft after it developed landing gear trouble in an attempted landing at the aircraft plant field in Grand Prairie. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition August 5, 1954.
