Mrs. Minnie K. Ashcraft was the first patient of the Treatment Center of the Crippled Children's Society of Fort Worth to use the Center's new switchboard, a gift of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. George R. Madden, the company's PBX repair foreman, instructs Mrs. Ashcraft. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition July 31, 1954
