Al Ackers, geologist for Stanolind Oil & Gas Company is examining some of the hundred of fishing lures he has made since he took up the hobby 12 years ago. Ackers whittles, paints and installs hooks in the lures at his home, then uses them himself or gives them to friends. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition August 1, 1954.
