A helicopter whisked W. K. Stripling, department store head, from River Crest golf course to the roof of his firm's downtown parking garage in four minutes. Greeting him, left to right, are Keith Kahle, Central Airlines president; R. E. Harding Jr., Central vice president, and W. C Stripling Jr., brother of the seated helicopter commuter. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition May 24, 1950.
