Precinct 46 at Azle voted conservative, praised the leadership of Governor Shivers and deplored de-segregation of public schools. At left is Mrs. J. B. Stribling, named chairman. The convention also voted to follow the unit rule but determined its 14 delegate strength on loyalist instructors. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 25, 1954
