Description
The body of George (Machine Gun) Kelly was unloaded from the Texas Zephyr at Decatur for funeral and burial services at graveside in Cottondale Cemetery. The Nation's one-time No. 1 badman died of a heart attack at Leavenworth prison. The image shows men carrying a casket out of a train. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition July 20, 1954
