J. Lee Johnson Jr., right, presents a plaque to Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Pope in observance of their golden wedding anniversary and the 25th anniversary of the chartering of Lena Pope Home. The couple, both 72 years old, were honored during a reception at C. A. Lupton Memorial Babyland. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 18, 1954.
