Mrs. J. Edwin McKee receives her overseas transportation orders from Miss Lida Hayes at the Fort Worth Quartermaster Depot, permitting her and three McKee boys to join their father, on active duty with the Army in Japan as a major. Watching the operation are the children, left to right, Gene, 12; Jerry, 11, and Jay 12. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition July 21, 1954
