Description
The 1,000 pound dud bomb, which was accidently dropped from a jet plane, is shown after it dug a hole and skipped out on a farm about 1 and half miles form the Griffin farm. R. P. Griffin, of 4517 6th Ave., leases the Koenig farm about six miles south of Fort Worth. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition July 16, 1954
