Description
Ernest N. Doring, nationally recognized connoisseur in old-master violins, now living in Fort Worth, holds a fine specimen of old Italian instrument. It is a Giovanni Grancino, made in Milan in 1701. During a long career he has had in his hands no less than 164 of the violins made by Antonio Stradivari. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 18, 1954
