Description
A photo of Hoyt M. Paxton, 53 was wounded fatally at midnight when he entered his 10-room home, at 2212 Fairway Dr. in Rolling Hills. Paxton was shot in the chest after a scuffle with intruders waiting in the house. He died at 3:50 am in a hospital. Mrs. Larue Hall, a divorcee who is mother of four children, was knocked unconscious by the bandits, and was recovering from head wounds at her home. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition July 6, 1954
