    Description

Examining the petition signed by 254 Fort Worth attorneys who favor John Ben Shepperd's re-election as Texas attorney general are, left to right, Shepperd; B. T. (Nub) Johnson, Elmo Irby, Earnest Sanders, and Jenkins Garrett, the latter one of the co-chairmen in charge of Shepperd's campaign in Tarrant County. Garrett, who said the names on the petition represent 90 percent of the county's lawyers, said that of all the attorneys approached to sign the petition, only one decided.
