L. R. Riggs, left, brick and stone mason, was honored by architects as the outstanding building craftsman of the year. Edward L. Wilson, president of the Texas Society of the American Institute of Architects, pinned a lapel pin on Riggs during a dinner at River Crest Country Club. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 24, 1950.
