F. Kirk Johnson, retiring president of the Fort Worth Zoological Association, was presented with the framed resolution of appreciation. Shown presenting it are J. Lee Johnson III, center, president of the park board, and Amon Carter Jr., right, who was elected as new president of the association. Accepting on behalf of his father, who is in Europe, is F. Kirk Johnson Jr., at left. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 11, 1954.
