Paul Leonard, right, exhibits to Joe Matlock, state game warden, left, and H. G. Harris, manager of Leonard's sporting goods department, part of the string of bass taken at Benbrook Lake before 8 a.m. by himself, Bob Leonard, Doc. St. Clair, and a Waco angler, Gordon Ray. They returned to the water more than an equal number of smaller fish. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition June 1, 1954.
