Description
Dudley C. Jernigin, left, veteran of 40 years' postal service, was sworn in as postmaster by George A. Gray, post office inspector-in-charge, after serving as acting, postmaster since September 1, 1951. His daughter, Mrs. David Reeder of 3113 Binyon, and 14-month-old grandson were among those present, as was Tarrant County Republican Chairman W. C. Conner. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition June 1, 1954.
