Carol Daugherty, 14, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Daugherty of Rendon, has been voted Queen of Rendon in a contest sponsored by the P-TA there. She will compete in Everman against that city's choice for the title of Queen of the Community Fire Department. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition June 1, 1954.
