Mrs. Gregory Vasquez, right, acting president of the Katy Lake Elementary School P-TA, presents a watch to Mrs. Celeste Fairbanks, center, who has been a first grade teacher there nine years. Mrs. Matida Deere, left, second and third grade teacher, received a necklace during a P-TA reception. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 1, 1954.
