Description
William J. Hefner of 1221 W. Drew was elected president of the Par Oneri Club (Equal to the Task) of the 144th Infantry Regiment at Hotel Hilton. Veterans who served in the regiment in both world wars and in peacetime gathered at the hotel. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 31, 1954.
