That's the attitude I. E. McWhirter, Ranch and Farm News advertising manager, assumed when he opened a fancy package from California, expecting either grapefruit or a two-column spread and found not these two exciting items but six beautiful and bountiful bottles of a patented new screw worm dope which a California agency had mailed to him. Peggie Spencer, now at Louisville, captured Mac's expression beautifully. Mac tried to bathe with the dope, started to drink it, planned to use it on his dog or for a shampoo, but later found it seemed to do best when neatly packed away in its swaddling wrapping and stashed in the Taylor Street window.
