Description
Dr. J. Howard Williams, president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, describes the Lucille Regan Home for missionaries home on furlough and attending the seminary during dedication ceremonies. Behind Dr. Williams are left to right, Reverend Cal Guy, professor of missions, who gave the dedicatory prayer, and J. Campbell Wray, head of the seminary school of music, who led in singing "Blest Be the Tie That Binds". The home, formerly occupied by seminary presidents, was named for an ex-student who died while serving as a missionary in Nigeria. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 30, 1954.
