Two teachers and a student among a group of 25 from the Colorado School of Mines who toured Southwestern Petroleum Company, Inc.. They are, left to right, Dr. Walter Dumke, associate professor of chemistry; Harry Akers, a student from the Panama Canal Zone; and Dr. G. W. LeMaire, associate professor of petroleum refining engineering. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 21, 1954.
