    Description

Flaming sections of a F-86-D Sabrejet which exploded and crashed near Arlington spanned the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford R. Russey on Randol Mill Rd. Parts fell within 150 feet of both the back and front. The pilot of the Perrin Air Force Base fighter parachuted to safety. Watching the smoking burner of the plane are the Russey's three sons, Larry, 13, Danny, 6, and Reagan, 11. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 21, 1954.
