Description
Schoolmates of Don Brumbelow, Richland Elementary School boy who died of leukemia, presented a fan to the gift and loan closet of the Tarrant County Unit, American Cancer Society. Accepting the gift from Tony Smith, 12, student council president, is Mrs. H. D. Cook, gift and loan chairman. The fan, to be used in sickrooms of cancer patients bore a memorial plaque. Don was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold D. Brumbelow, 3557 Crites. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 21, 1954.
