Hendrix Ballard, right, receives from George A. Gray, division inspector in charge, a meritorious citation from Washington after ending a long career with the U. S. post office inspection service. Ballard was assistant superintendent of division headquarters. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 18, 1954.
