One-year-old Danny Carroll played happily at his home, 5013 Orien, after his mother, Mrs. Bob Carroll, 29, pulled him from a driverless car seconds before the auto plunged into Lake Bridgeport while the family was on a Mother's Day outing. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 11, 1954.
