Description

Knights of Columbus stood at attestation before the altar during celebration of the solemn mass by Bishop Thomas K. Gorman at La Grave Field. More than 5,500 Catholics sat in the stands for the public observance of the Marian Year. In attendance while Bishop Gorman celebrated the mass were the white-robed acolytes, right front, and the members of the clergy in the background. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 10, 1954.
