Description
Fort Worth tradesmen and bosses pitched in and erected a barracks at Camp Sweeney near Gainesville, a youth camp operated by the Southwestern Diabetic Foundation for youngsters afflicted with diabetes. Pictured is Jerry Chandler, 7, od 1101 Griggs trims out a plug for an electrical connection. His dogs stands by for moral support. Jerry's father, O. J. Chandler, also was working. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 9, 1954.
