Fort Worth tradesmen and bosses pitched in and erected a barracks at Camp Sweeney near Gainesville, a youth camp operated by the Southwestern Diabetic Foundation for youngsters afflicted with diabetes. Shown is Thomas S. Byrne, Fort Worth, left, talks with Watt Matthews of Albany. Both are foundation directors. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 9, 1954.
