C. L. Engelking Sr. of Houston, left, secretary-treasurer of the Justice of Peace and Constables Association, Inc., presents W. W. (Peck) Wilson, president and Fort Worth constable, with a check for Constable Bob Burklow who was wounded the previous year. The check was made up by a donation from the association and from individual contributions at the group's annual convention. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 9, 1954.
