Description
Seconds after Jerry Martin, 4, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Martin, left, of 2617 May, wished for rain, a few drops began to fall around this small wishing well at 3121 South Riverside Drive. Joining him in making wishes is 3-year-old Preston Bell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred E. Bell, of 1004 E. Roberts. Proceeds from the wishing well go to the Star-Telegram Milk and Ice Fund. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 9, 1954.
