Four of the first place winners in Texas Christian University (TCU) Creative Writing Day events were, front row, Temple Miller of Fort Worth, left, Elizabeth Robinson of Odessa and, back rown, Bill Camfield of Fort Worth, left, Jim Corder of Fort Worth. Camfield, a freshman, was the only student to win two first prizes. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 8, 1954.
